Oh I didn't know about openbeta, this sounds great! Except this only seems to be for the usa I'm working on a newer project for drawing routes on photos, but as svg, like thecrag does, it should be better than betacreator, but i wanted to try what exists first to make sure I cover the same feature set.

@bohwaz@mamot.fr that's still really cool, and worth doing. To my knowledge I think Viet from OpenBeta is actually working on a topo drawing tool as well (as indicated in his blog post from this past March)

I wonder if combining resources would be fruitful.
