Can we improve single pitch β€œclip and lower” anchors? This anchor ticks all the boxes for low cost, simplicity, security, longevity, and more. See all the details, variations, and cost breakdown here. Normally, I publish a complete version of my articles for my Premium Members, and a shortened version of articles on the public part of my website. However, for this article, I'm changing that.Β Because I want this to reach the largest possible audience, I'm posting the entire article here on the public part of my website. Just test-drove the topo editor that @bohwaz@mamot.fr fixed up, and it's working great, nice work!! Scaling is a bit off; I had to scale up pretty much everything (lines, marks, text) by 200-300%, but that's due to images being so huge nowadays. Looking forward to updating my photos of The Crag Next Door with proper topos! [image: 1730914274412-dilligaf.png]

It was that familiar feeling you get when you finish a big climbβ€”that immense wash of relief that climbers all know, when you finally touch down from that last rappel, and you are once again planted on solid ground. It’s a bittersweet transition from the transcendental vertical realm to the horizontal plane of the ordinary.…

https://climbingzine.com/guerreras-by-zach-clanton-an-excerpt-from-volume-24/
