    Wondering if anyone has suggestions on climbing guides in Oahu, Hawaii. Looking to take a trip there with the wife (sans kids!) and hoping to try a multi pitch or two on volcanic rock! (Typical beta for this would be to hit up a local group on Facebook but bleeeeecchhh, only if I absolutely have to...)

    Important information about the dos and don'ts on THE most important knot in #climbing and some myth busting.And here I thought it was all tested and proven about the humble figure eight.I've never used that yosemite finish, and I don't think I'll ever will.     Looks like there's a new resoler in town for us Canucks. Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, turnaround time of 4 weeks! Any resole here usually goes to Mike Doody and his excellent team at Ontario Resoles. Nice to have some competition regardless. Anyone know if they do no-edge?     A black fin of sandstone protrudes from the right side of the crack. I pinch it like a tufa and look up at the iron ring. Next stop, ring, I tell myself. Feet up, then hands. I layback the crack for a few moves and then pull in to stand atop the fin.
