In 2024 while on a trip to Argentina, Brazilian Felipe Camargo was invited by the Colombian climbing community to tackle a legendary project bolted in 2015. Over 6 days, with unwavering support and cheers from the local community, Felipe climbed La Vuelta Al Mundo (9a/5.14d), establishing it as Colombia's hardest rock climb. https://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?n=778825

#FootpathFriday It's under there, I promise. CMD Arete, with Ben Nevis summit on the right. My son and brother-in-law descending part of the ridge - we'd done an overnight camp just before this point, and were just getting going again after a fairly muzzy awakening. There are times it's a bit of a struggle getting out of a warm sleeping bag, but we still had the summit to ourselves before anyone else turned up.We tobogganed down the other side to about 500m off Glen Nevis valley floor - possibly the easiest descent I've ever had off The Ben.#Mountains #Climbing #SomeRiskInvolved

When your kiddo mentions a sore finger that’s been hurting for days, take special note: kids aren’t immune to climbing injuries—and, in some cases, are even predisposed to them. https://www.climbing.com/skills/training/preventing-finger-injuries-in-young-climbers/

On this edition of the Undercover Crusher series, we have Rab athlete Nathan Hadley on the pod. We talk about what counts as “undercover,” and the reality of straddling the world of full-time work while being “pro.” We discuss the pressure to be obsessed with Yosemite, and maybe figuring out that performing in Yosemite is not the only place to make a name for yourself…as well as bolting and development ethics in Washington, sending the Canadian Trilogy, and the downsides and upsides of being a route setter.  Jump into this episode to hear all this and more from crusher Nathan Hadley!
