    Finally managed to get organised for some #climbing outdoors today, at the You Yangs. This is one of the closest crags to #naarm / Melbourne, only an hour away, and it offers a wide variety of climbing if you only want to climb slabby blank rock. All the climbs involve hanging onto tiny crystal nubbins by your fingernails while balancing on the texture with your feet.Picture isn't me, but the topo image from A Question Of Ethics from thecrag.com

    Bit of a miserable day of #climbing in #Beez, #belgium yesterday. Got spooked while leading the first easy climb. Continued on top-rope and couldn't finish any of the subsequent routes without hangdogging. Frustrating...It's a style of climbing that's not really my favorite though. Slightly overhanging with lots of pockets and you can't really see which are the good ones until you move to them. So lots of trying, retreating, etc. Which requires more strength than I have available.

    Looks like there's a new resoler in town for us Canucks. Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, turnaround time of 4 weeks! Any resole here usually goes to Mike Doody and his excellent team at Ontario Resoles. Nice to have some competition regardless. Anyone know if they do no-edge?
