#Rockclimbing stuff I learnt from the series "The climb":
1. If you're older than 39 years old, climbing competition is not for you (the only older climber was eliminated at the first episode).
2. You need to wear a helmet, unless you are Chris Sharma or Jason Momoa. In that case your large ego serves as a protection for your skull. Nice.
-
3. Make sure you put the rope in your mouth before clipping. This makes sure you'll lose your jaws if you ever fall before clipping. Also, that nice rope taste, full of sand and sweat, nice.

@bohwaz Hahaha yeah make sure your jaw gets ripped apart
-
4. You can leave 10 meters of slack for your climber. This makes sure your climber will get a nice and long fall. Much better if your belayer is Jason Momoa.

It's not because someone is a "good climber" that they're actually a safe climber. A lot of strong climbers don't have the technical skills and most lack in overall safety training. This is how get an accident.
Don't take example on these guys and make sure you get proper training and always question your skills and consider your safety.
Have fun
