1. If you're older than 39 years old, climbing competition is not for you (the only older climber was eliminated at the first episode).
2. You need to wear a helmet, unless you are Chris Sharma or Jason Momoa. In that case your large ego serves as a protection for your skull. Nice.

wrote on 22 Sept 2024, 23:13 last edited byIt's not because someone is a "good climber" that they're actually a safe climber. A lot of strong climbers don't have the technical skills and most lack in overall safety training. This is how get an accident.
Don't take example on these guys and make sure you get proper training and always question your skills and consider your safety.

wrote on 25 Sept 2024, 18:55 last edited by@bohwaz@mamot.fr There were some glorious shots of that "backyard crag" that Chris Sharma took the contestants to.
Another takeaway is that apparently you must always scream "f*** yeah!" when you send a route.
